The annual Townie Street Party and Dart for Art are back better than ever to kick off Art Fair week in Ann Arbor on Sunday, July 16th! This all day block party is held on Sunday this year for the first time ever! Dart For Art races begin at 9:30 am and Townie Street Party is from 10 am to 6 pm.

Townie Street Party is the greatest Post-Race Party of all time for the Dart for Art-Ann Arbor Mile, presented by Bank of Ann Arbor.

The Dart for Art is a one-mile run/walk and offers runners compete for cash/art awards. The Dart for Art races start at 9:30 am on the corner of East Washington and Fletcher open to local athletes, families, or anyone who wants to enjoy a run or walk in downtown Ann Arbor.

There are 3 races: Masters, Community, and FREE Kid’s Dash (where the kiddos can race Conrad the Unicorn). There’s even a Team-Work competition to see which organizations have the fastest team and the largest team. Division winners receive custom-designed, hand-crafted tiles by Motawi Tileworks, Artist signed A2SAF Poster, as well as cash/art awards . All participants receive a hand-crafted ceramic medal and a free beer compliments of Arbor Brewing Company (age restricted – children win art supplies). You will also receive individual guest memberships provided by Orange Theory.
