Bio: Music certainly runs through Anne Erlewine’s family, being the sister of acclaimed folk-rock musician May Erlewine and daughter of AllMusic.com founder Michael Erlewine. Her musical abilities were displayed on her debut album “Over the Bones,” produced by Michigan’s Chris Bathgate. Anne Erlewine’s delicate picking and emotional melodies evoke a sense of Americana and raw folk that is hard not to be entranced by. Bathgate has said her music “Stretches into territory that’s both strange and familiar. The turns are never where you remember even though you’ve drawn a bead on their landmarks.” Outside of music, Anne Erlewine is also a painter, with her work displayed on her website.
