Bio: Emma Guzman began her musical journey at a young age when she was cast as an orphan in “Annie” at the age of 7. Her time in musical theater blossomed from there, leading her to learn theatre and singing at Interlochen, and becoming a member of the Michigan Opera Theatre Children’s Choir at the Detroit Opera House. This eventually transitioned into writing her own music, with her first two albums (“Echo” and “Roots“) released when she was a teenager. In 2020, she was a finalist in the TIDAL Unplugged Music Endowment program. Her last album, “Something Less Than Alone,” was nominated for the Detroit Music Awards in 2023.
